Dear Apatar Developers,
The Apatar Team is pleased to inform you that Apatar Open Source Data
Integration 1.3.2 has been released. A new feature was added and a number of
bugs were fixed. You may find a brief summary below.
New feature
A counter to limit the number of transformation launches was added to the
Scheduling application. You might want to use this if you need a task to run
for a certain number of times and then stop. In the previous versions, you
would have to calculate and set the date of the last launch, whereas now you
can just specify how many times you need your transformation run using the
counter.
Bugs fixed
1. Apatar doesn't commit transactions in Sybase
(http://apatarforge.org/bugs/browse/APT-574). The transformation runs, but
the data in the table is not accessible. (Please note that enabling the
Sybase connector to work properly in the Update mode is yet to follow in the
future releases.)
2. Next run time in the Scheduler is updating only after closing and
reopening the scheduler (http://apatarforge.org/bugs/browse/APT-566).
Without reopening, the time remained the same.
3. Scheduling doesn't work right
(http://www.apatarforge.org/bugs/browse/APT-580). The Scheduling window
appeared with an empty Name field, and with a wrong time in the Next run
field. It also didn't manage to delete the task, nor even allow to edit it.
4. Global fixes in the scheduling app
(http://www.apatarforge.org/bugs/browse/APT-575). Apatar Scheduler starts a
datamap anew even if it is already running; counts the time till the next
run from time when the scheduling task has been saved, not from the time set
in Starting at as it is probably supposed to; doubles the time set in Occurs
every.
