[Developers] New Apatar v1.9.2: FireBird, AS/400, SOQL, etc.

Dear Apatar Developers,

 

The Apatar Team is pleased to inform you that Apatar Open Source Data
Integration 1.9.2 has been released. Some new features were added and
another bug was fixed. You may find a brief summary below.

 

New features

 

a)   The connector for the FireBird database was implemented. Now Apatar
users can extract and load data from/to FireBird's tables and integrate it
with third-party applications. This feature has been contributed by Aamir
Tauqeer of Digital Processing Systems, Inc. We would like to thank Aamir for
his involvement from the whole Apatar Community!

b)   Another new feature is the connector for AS/400 (IBM iSeries). For

c)    The Replace function and the Replace With function were enhanced to
convert NULL values to empty strings. This will help to work with
uninitialized records using the functions of the String type and eliminate
the problems with field validation, especially when you need to work with
required fields that are not initialized.

d)   The SOQL (Sforce Object Query Language) feature was finally enabled in
the connector for Salesforce CRM. This will allow performing custom queries
during SFDC-related transformations and will be of use when you need to
filter-out some records prior to migrations. Hope this will help
significantly save time when working with millions of records.

 

 

Bug fixed

 

Now the connector for Salesforce handles batching (more than 200 records)
and accurately processes all of the records in the Update mode:
